Job Description
About the role:
You will lead and execute innovative systems and operational initiatives (e.g. digital omnichannel approaches working with DD&T to ensure successful implementation of Patient Access programs. Responsible for providing day-to-day operational excellence oversight of Patient access programs from planning to close-out. Embed digital solutions internal and external throughout the planning, set-up, execution of Patient Access programs. Develop and implement education and training of operational systems in Patient Access. You will report to the Head of Patient Access, Global Medical.
How you will contribute:
You will identify and lead performance and continuous improvement efforts of Patient Access systems
Contribute to procurement activities for vendor selection, contracting, budget, tracking and management for Patient Access systems
Partner with relevant functions to support development and implementation of policies, guidance, SOPs, tools and training programs related to patient access
Build and manage relationships with key external partners and vendors
Collaborate with cross-functional, global and local teams (e.g. DD&T, oncology) to deliver Patient Access systems ensuring alignment with stakeholders
Deliver training on Patient Access systems and initiatives
Ensure worldwide Regulatory guidance and best practices related to Patient Access are embedded in digital solutions
Collaborates closely with other Patient Access teams (e.g. Oncology) and provide operational excellence support for other Patient Access mechanisms and initiatives
Support audits and inspections related to Patient Access
Support and maintain streamlined systems to allow efficient tracking, reporting and documentation of Patient access programs
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
PhD, PharmD with 3+years; MS with 6+ years; BS with 8+ years experience or related experience in clinical research or expanded access in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO
Previous experience with leading the development and implementation of technology programs.
Desired:
Previous experience working on expanded access programs preferred.
Requires approximately 10% travel, including overnight and international travel to other Takeda sites and meetings with external partners.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$149,100.00 - $234,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
