Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. During this program, you will be assigned a project within Operations, which is one of three foundational functions at Amgen with a mission to manufacture and deliver safe and effective medicine to patients around the world. The organization is spread across eight sites and divided into five functions: Global Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Amgen focuses on corporate and professional growth and innovation where creativity and flexibility are valued.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

18 years or older

Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR PhD for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR PhD program before internship starts

Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment

Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

Prospective candidates must be in their degree program and scheduled to receive their MBA and MS in Engineering degree no later than summer 2023 as a fellow in the MIT Leaders for Global Operations program

Strong analytical/quantitative skills

Self-starter with interpersonal skills

Team player

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally in an organization

Have a passion for operations
