Sanofi Group Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) Oncology Manager - VIE Contract (W/M) in Cambridge, Massachusetts

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

We are looking for: Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) Oncology Manager - VIE Contract (W/M)

Target start date: 01/01/2023

Responsibilities:

  • Support development of the strategy for and perform literature searches to inform evidence‐based reviews (epidemiology data (incidence/prevalence), efficacy/safety data, economic evaluation, utilities, resource use/costs)

  • Abstract relevant data from articles, develop evidence tables summarizing abstracted data

  • Critically evaluate the research methods and statistical findings of health outcome studies retrieved from the medical literature and proposed by other colleagues to further discuss with the preceptor HEVA Business Partner (BP)

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative synthesis of evidence from literature and other sources, including meta‐analyses where relevant

  • Research and summarize information contained in clinical guideline statements, payer coverage policies, and health technology assessments to answer a key strategic question for the team

  • Identify and communicate with, and solicit input from patient groups, medical societies, manufacturers and other key stakeholders for each project, especially for Isatuximab for multiple myeloma (MM) indications

  • Coordinate and develop draft and final slides or reports, including writing, editing, and proofreading, as necessary

  • Support the Tolebrutinib sub-team focused on HEVA deliverables such as reimbursement dossiers, indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs) and modeling

  • Ensure that milestones and timelines are on track

Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in life sciences/ pharmacy/ similar discipline or medical degree such as public health/epidemiology, health policy, or economics

  • Minimum one year of relevant work experience, preferably as part of a team performing systematic

  • evidence reviews and health technology assessment (HTA) reviews (including health economics (HE) modeling)

  • Comfort and familiarity with professional English conversation, writing, reading and analyses with interest in gaining experience presenting in English

  • At ease with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • The highest levels of personal initiative, attention to detail, and independent work

  • Excellent organizational as well as written and oral communication skills

  • Word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software experience required

  • Experience with techniques of qualitative and quantitative evidence synthesis in a health technology assessment environment (including meta‐analysis) a plus
