Robert Half is looking for a Project professional for an interim opportunity as a Senior Manager of FP& A to support our client in the biotech/life sciences sector. This contract opportunity will be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all financial reporting functions, and conducting forecast analysis. In addition, you will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain effective professional relationships with the company's bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations

• Run the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes

• Create detailed business unit projections, highlight risks/opportunities, and oversee the preparation of relevant materials

• Develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for the organization with the executive team and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets

• Generate and sustain adherence to the company's accounting policies and procedures

• Create reports on the company's key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders

• Develop operating and financial metrics, analyze results and trends to create impactful insights, report results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improve forecasting and modeling accuracy

  Requirements

• Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment

• Exceptional integrity, confidentially, and accountability

• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills

• Detail-oriented and high attention to accuracy are a must

• Minimum of 8 years' experience at a Senior Manager level role

• Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
