Basic qualifications are the minimum threshold a candidate must meet in order to be considered for this role.
Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a relevant field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four years of relevant experience is acceptable.
Additional 5+ years of experience in tasks such as designing, delivering, managing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Zoom (or similar online conferencing software) necessary.
Experience;
working in banking or finance field a plus.

Graduate certificate in training and development preferred.
Demonstrated excellence in organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Strong;
experience with project and program management.
research and analytical skills, and the ability to effectively synthesize, organize, and display data.
Instructional design and content creation experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
InDesign, Microsoft Project, Visio, or other related technical skills desired.
Proactive in identification and communication of issues or barriers that may impede an initiative or compromise its success, and critical thinking skills to identify and determine alternative solutions/approaches.
Effective communication and influencing skills, both written and oral, with the ability to clearly and concisely share information and ideas with a range of audiences.
Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships across the organization and to work collaboratively with colleagues.
A flexible “can do” attitude and approach to the work.
Resourceful and able to work independently.

Manages;
all aspects of Harvard FCU training programs, including annual planning; communications; instructor selection, oversight, and support; vendor management; and program evaluation.

Summarizes key findings and determines recommendations; prepares reports for varied internal and external audiences including project documents, presentations, reports for Senior Team, and briefings for leadership audiences.
Ensures the delivery of courses, including curriculum development for all departments at Harvard FCU.
Collaborates with the Senior Team, managers, Center for Workplace Development (CWD), HR, and other internal colleagues as needed for program development and strategic alignment of programs and services.
Evaluates the learning management system (LMS) to ensure it is the best product to meet our needs. Oversees LMS, and acts as back-up admin of LMS.
Analyzes workforce trends, training records, statistics, program evaluations, and best practice data to continuously improve program offerings.
Oversees the administration of courses; facilitates remote and in-person trainings.
Responsible for effective management of one direct report: this includes hiring and orientation, training and development, workflow and performance management, time and attendance, and the promotion of an inclusive and innovative work environment.
Other duties as required or requested.

The Learning and Development Program Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all Harvard FCU training programs, including onboarding and technical training, DEI training, and management training. The Learning and Development Program Manager oversees and manages training delivery, ongoing needs assessment, program planning, course design, curriculum development, selection of outside training vendors, and reporting on a continual basis as the program continues to evolve to meet the varied and changing needs of the Harvard FCU workforce. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources & Training, and manages the Learning and Development Specialist. The Learning and Development department serves over 140 staff at all levels of the organization.
