Medical Receptionist - Hospital in Cambridge MA
Schedule: M-F 8-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour
Prepare and mail out slides and reports for special testing and records information.
Type a variety of departmental reports, and transfer patient results into appropriate case files.
Maintain records for the department according to all regulatory agencies and departmental policies and procedures.
Answer telephone, screens calls, refers to appropriate individual or take messages.
Process attorney requests for patient slides for legal matters; maintain all documentation related to these requests
Receive and Scan reports from consult cases.
Maintain inventory of office supplies
Medical terminology and knowledge required
2+ Years of medical receptionist, medical secretary experience
Excellent typing/computer skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines
Associate's degree in a medical secretary program or equivalent preferred
