  • Experience with Zoom Meetings/Webinars, Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Google Docs/Sheets is required.

  • Experience with one or more of the following is desirable: Mailchimp, Salesforce, backend webpage management.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (works and communicates with many people throughout HKS), strong writing/editing skills, and the ability to work well with people of many different backgrounds

  • Eagerness to learn new things.

Additional Information: This position is a fully benefits-eligible term appointment one year from date of hire with possibility of renewal.

Salary Range: $50,122 - $78,291

Note: Starting salaries typically fall in the lower half of the salary range; however, they are ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.

Department:Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and GovernmentPre-Employment Screening:Identity Schedule: 20 hours per week to be distributed 4 hours per day. Job Function:General Administration Position Description:

The Program Assistant position supports the Harvard Environmental Economics Program and the Harvard Project on Climate Agreements, based in the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School. The Program Assistant will perform administrative tasks including but not limited to:

  • Financial management (processing corporate card purchases, purchasing card (P-card) purchases, invoices/honorariums, and reimbursements)

  • Website management (including uploading news stories to HEEP website, updating HEEP and other affiliated webpages with content, uploading publications and photos, updating events pages, updating course pages, updating webpage calendar

  • Providing course support for faculty-led bi-weekly seminar (communicating with faculty presenters, student support, technical/media support, necessary classroom supplies, publicity for seminar, etc.)

  • Events support (Zoom Meeting/Webinar administration and support, in person support, photography, organizing media/catering support as needed, event publicity, point of contact for event participants and presenters);

  • Management of publications (PDF formatting, printing, updating);

  • Database management (contact databases (Salesforce, Mailchimp, Outlook, etc.).

    The Program Assistant reports to the Program Manager.
