PROJECT MANAGEMENT ANALYST II, Resource Development, to provide strategic information analysis to MIT’s fund-raising community to ensure that fund-raising efforts are focused on working with the right donors for the right gifts at the right time. Will focus on individual, major gift-level prospects, provide prospect pool analysis and consultation to field staff for the purpose of improving the quality of the prospect pool, work with managers and field staff, develop strategies for prospect engagement, and ensure that the best prospects are being advanced to the field staff for qualification and assignment. Will work closely with major gift officers and their managers to ensure a deep understanding of their portfolio and prospective relationships.

This role is 50% prospect management training, consultation, and documentation and 50% data integrity and analysis.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: undergraduate degree; a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience; at least one year of data analysis and/or research experience, preferably in the field of development; strong presentation and writing skills; ability to analyze and synthesize data and some experience with statistical analysis; ability to interact well with all levels of the organization for the purpose of soliciting information and prioritizing work assignments; organizational skills; initiative; ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints; strong commitment to accuracy; and excellent judgment. One year of training experience preferred, as is experience with visualization software such as Tableau or Maptive. Knowledge of SQL or SPSS would be beneficial. Job #16061-N
