Philips Quality Engineer Data Analytics in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Quality Engineer Data Analytics is responsible for enabling decision making by exploring the data, recommending actionable insights and building visualizations and dashboards.
Your role:
Understand end user/customer needs, business requirements and the context to interpret datasets correctly and gives recommendations towards business stakeholders and generates business insights to provide clear directions/actions to senior managers supporting decision making
Performs predictive data analysis, to generate actionable insights, manages and ensures data quality, integrity, normalization and accuracy of datasets from multiple sources
Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security and metadata, and builds the platform to drive efficiency and consistency in providing data insights by consolidating data and methods.
Keeps abreast of technical knowledge by studying and implementing state-of-the-art techniques and development tools, participating in educational opportunities, participating in communities of practice, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks
Support the Quality System and Functions in data requests to meet their functional needs.
You're the right fit if:
You have acquired 3+ years of relevant working in data acquisition and analysis project. Experienced with database management, Data Warehousing, statistical analysis & data interpretation.
You have experience performing specialized data analysis, acting autonomous with established procedures and practices. Understanding business, product (or service), customers and/or users and generates insights and solutions accordingly. Experience identifying key issues and patterns from (partial) conflicting data and finding solutions on the basis of theoretical and practical insights and experience for deviating situations.
Your skills include a good understanding of the Quality System Regulations ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 803, 806 & 820) and knowledge of medical device process requirements.
You have a Bachelor In Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Engineer, Business Management, Science, Mathematics or equivalent related experience.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You’re accountable to generate new solutions from vague problem statements with full ownership for creating requirements and leading projects and small number of people. You have excellent communication skills and ability to present information and insights to internal stakeholders.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an onsite role based out of Cambridge, MA.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $89,376 to $153,216
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
