In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work as a Finance Business Partner for supporting our Medical Consumables & Supplies (MCS) and General & Specialty Care (GSC) business categories, part of the wider Hospital Patient Monitoring Business (HPM), overseeing all R&D activity.
You are responsible for
Business case development for new product introductions, assessing market opportunity, required investment, and resulting return on investment.
Representing finance on cross-functional new product introduction teams.
Tracking total R&D spend vs. plan, and providing annual and quarterly forecasts.
Tracking and forecasting individual project budgets.
Driving post product release tracking versus business case, proposing mitigating actions, and identifying learnings for future projects.
Manage R&D Internal Controls.
Steering and leading ad-hoc projects to support business objectives.
You are a part of
The MCS and GSC finance organization, based in our Cambridge, MA office. You will functionally report to the MCS/GSC Director of Finance.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Advanced data analytics skills and attention for detail.
Business Case modelling.
At least 5 years of Finance experience with a related degree.
Working experience with financial control, cost accounting, management reporting and business analysis.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at different levels in a matrix organization.
Self-starter, dedicated, driven and ability to take ownership.
Advanced proficiency preferred in Power BI, Excel, SAP, Qlikview, & Tableau.
General business curiosity and motivation to drive improvement.
