In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work as a Finance Business Partner for supporting our Medical Consumables & Supplies (MCS) and General & Specialty Care (GSC) business categories, part of the wider Hospital Patient Monitoring Business (HPM), overseeing all R&D activity.

You are responsible for

  • Business case development for new product introductions, assessing market opportunity, required investment, and resulting return on investment.

  • Representing finance on cross-functional new product introduction teams.

  • Tracking total R&D spend vs. plan, and providing annual and quarterly forecasts.

  • Tracking and forecasting individual project budgets.

  • Driving post product release tracking versus business case, proposing mitigating actions, and identifying learnings for future projects.

  • Manage R&D Internal Controls.

  • Steering and leading ad-hoc projects to support business objectives.

You are a part of

The MCS and GSC finance organization, based in our Cambridge, MA office. You will functionally report to the MCS/GSC Director of Finance.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Advanced data analytics skills and attention for detail.

  • Business Case modelling.

  • At least 5 years of Finance experience with a related degree.

  • Working experience with financial control, cost accounting, management reporting and business analysis.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at different levels in a matrix organization.

  • Self-starter, dedicated, driven and ability to take ownership.

  • Advanced proficiency preferred in Power BI, Excel, SAP, Qlikview, & Tableau.

  • General business curiosity and motivation to drive improvement.
