This position provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the work at the Protein Drug Product Development. As a Research and Development Associate, you will be primarily responsible for supporting bioavailability investigations related to subcutaneously injected drug products. Responsibilities will include hands-on laboratory experimentation to ascertain bioavailability and fate of drug products after injection, sample management, and data analysis. You will support the development of a mathematical subcutaneous model by providing and analyzing necessary experimental data.

You will be required to collaborate with different stakeholders within the Protein Drug Product Development team.

qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of related laboratory experience is required

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles such as heat and mass transfer is required

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and other statistical software and excellent data organization

  • Familiarity with parenteral administration of therapeutics is desirable, but not required

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
