Additional Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Self-starter with proven ability to take initiative and be highly productive.

  • Willingness to perform tasks outside primary job description as necessary in support of colleagues and departmental researchers.

  • Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.

  • Competency using a variety of computer software.

  • Position requires advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and/or databases.

  • Visa experience preferred.

Additional Information:This position is based in Boston and some in-person on-campus work will be required, and flexible/remote work is an option. Any remote work must be performed in a state in which Harvard is registered to do business (CA*, CT, MA, MD, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT). Manages visas, onboarding, and appointments/reappointments for all administrative/academic employees, students, and visitors. Will act as a backup for the AP coordinator on various financial tasks including, but not limited to, Purchasing Cards, reimbursements, Corporate Cards, B2P access requests, service center chargebacks, core billing, and resolution of A/P issues and invoice discrepancies. Will work directly with department administrative leadership to improve methods of compliance assurance including onboarding and off-boarding, data compliance, conflict of interest, etc.

Assists finance team with miscellaneous service requests by faculty members as needed. Assists with other department projects, initiatives, and events, as needed.
