Pfizer Senior Associate Scientist, Molecular Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts
BioMedicine Design is seeking a highly motivated senior associate scientist to join the Molecular Design, Profiling and Production group. In this role the bench scientist will contribute towards the selection of high quality biotherapeutics using established biophysical and analytical techniques. This role offers opportunities for learning and development as well as broad portfolio impact.
The qualified candidate is responsible for providing critical molecular assessment and biophysical supports to a wide range of biotherapeutics in the early discovery pipeline. The candidate is required to be proficient in an array of analytical and biophysical techniques including HPLC, DSC, DLS, iCE, cCGE and Anton-Paar rheology. The candidate with knowledge in automation is desired. The qualified candidate must have good communication skill, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of pharmaceutical experience or Master's Degree with 0-2 years of pharmaceutical experience.
Experience in Anton Paar viscosity measurement, DSC, DLS, CGE, iCE and gel electrophoresis and Janus automation.
Requires keen attention to detail (analytical-minded) and ability to multi-task efficiently
Ability to learn new techniques quickly and follow established protocols with precision
Perform tasks under close supervision with frequent review of results
Excellent communication and presentation skills
