Microsoft Research New England is comprised of full-time researchers, postdocs, data scientists, engineers, and program managers working in AI, machine learning, statistics, healthcare, computational biology, theoretical computer science, algorithmic game theory, economics, social media, cryptography, and mathematics. The lab is highly collaborative and interdisciplinary and is actively engaged with the local academic and tech communities. 

Responsibilities

As a researcher in Microsoft Research, you will define a novel research agenda, driving forward an effective program of basic, fundamental, and applied research. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or have a completed PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant field OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Research Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
