Philips Sr. Manager, Demand Planner - Hospital Patient Monitoring (Nashville, TN, Cambridge, MA or Bothell, WA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Collaborate with key stakeholders to create statistical baseline forecasts to shape demand, help close gaps for achieving targets and ensure future quarters have sufficient orders on hand and funnel opportunities to achieve business targets. The role will lead, implement, and govern the strategic approach for the North America (NAM) market demand planning process in alignment with global business standards.
Your role:
Create Revenue, Inventory and Demand forecasts for an 18-month rolling planning horizon by creating the statistical baseline forecast, and enriching it with relevant input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance, and adjacent functions. Review and analyze historical sales trends, sell out, stock-in-trade, research demand drivers, prepare forecast analytics and evaluate forecast results. Lead conversations with key counterparts, propose forecast adjustments and drive and/or support all relevant functions in countermeasures to help close gaps.
Support relevant functions in preparing, planning, communicating, and revising forecasts for Business Integration. Attend meetings, specifically related to Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and Strategic Planning of Record (SPOR). Develop analytics and lean methodologies to improve key S&OP/SIOP (Sales Inventory and Operational Planning) metrics. Drives integration across the E2E value stream by identifying key drivers of value and influencing others to work cross-functionally to increase operational excellence and customer value.
Carries out Change Management towards internal key stakeholders and external partners in market and business groups. Analyze new scenarios and quantify the performance with end-to-end scope for management decisions working closely together with adjacent functions. Applies advanced analytic techniques such as optimization, simulation, data mining and statistics to design, implement, validate, and refine models to drive performance and forecast accuracy.
You're the right fit if:
You have 7+ years of experience in demand management, project planning, and scheduling, and/or supply chain management with the ability to engage/influence functional leaders and stakeholders.
Your skills include the ability to conduct critical path analysis, analysis of changes to schedule assumptions and impact on targets with a demonstrated track record in leveraging continuous process improvement / lean methodologies to resolve complex supply chain, project management or implementation issues.
You have a Bachelor’ degree, required with an MBA, highly desired.

You must be a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced matrixed environment, possess excellent communication skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel with pivots and v-lookups), Power BI (or Tableau), and SAP. Additionally, you must possess a flexible work style, adaptable to internal and external customer requirements supported by a creative mind and the ability to think out of the box.
