Sr. Market Manager - Ultrasound Connectivity & Security

This role is the North American expert in the field of ultrasound connectivity and security solutions. The role supports the North American ultrasound sales organization across all clinical segments in winning profitable deals and increasing market share.

Your role:

  • Serve as the expert liaison to customers’ IT professionals to answer their questions and help design the optimal connectivity solution and define the implementation strategy.

  • Support winning sales orders by giving presentations to potential and existing customers and by completing security questionnaires within the SLA.

  • Increase the expertise and motivation of the local sales staff by providing relevant and up-to-date information about connectivity and security products and solutions and their competitive environment, to drive and maintain their confidence in the superiority of the Philips product solutions.

  • Train the local key specialists on product positioning, features, applications, and competitive strategy and market trends.

  • Maintain contact with key customers and industry associations, to identify the latest trends and market insights in the connectivity & security landscape while providing optimal support.

  • Facilitate communication with and provide input to the global and local marketing teams about the requirements and developments in the region or country and collaborate with marketing on the formulation of the marketing plans & tools for the region and for the central product creation unit.

  • Notify field sales team of product enhancements, promotional activity, and market and competitive news.

  • Provide strategy and content input for Request for Proposals and Request for Information.

  • Handle non-service customer issues/escalations in support of sales teams.

Experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years in related field preferably in high tech or healthcare/med-tech solutions businesses

  • Experience with medical device IT and connectivity solutions and technology is required

  • IT/Connectivity product technical/clinical and market expertise

  • Competitive and entrepreneurial mind-set to drive sales growth in new and existing markets

  • Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues and customers

  • Collaborative mindset to work with cross-section of sales, marketing, and analytics resources

  • Travel up to 30% of time

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $180,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
