-Define top-level requirements for systems and systems-of-systems, as well as decomposing subsequent levels of requirements for subsystems

-Track defined requirements against testable and verifiable milestones as the program evolves

-Define system technical performance measures, including KPPs, TPMs, MOEs, and MOPs, and support their tracking over time

-Define use cases and flow diagrams in a Model Based Systems Engineering environment

-Translate roles and responsibilities defined though concept development into use case activity diagrams

-Perform detailed behavioral development for the system of interest

-Develop functional architectures and associated interfaces to support lower level physical architectural development

-Support the generation of safety related artifacts (FHAs, FTAs, FMEAs, FMECAs) per SAE ARP4761 and MIL-STD-882E

-Define and track programs risks, including mitigation plans to reduce program risk over time

-As needed, support test plan generation and execution in collaboration with our Test and Evaluation Group

-Support the definition and refinement of processes within Aurora to improve systems engineering and program workflow

-Guide the design of architectures for current and future Aurora programs, including both manned and unmanned vehicles (aircraft and otherwise) and various forms of autonomous systems

-Support business development opportunities and the execution of research for military and commercial customers

-Support Program Managers in program proposals, program planning, and program execution

-Contribute to proposals, reports, and presentations where Systems Engineering issues are relevant

Minimum Requirements

-Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident/Green Card)

Preferred Requirements

-Experience with SE processes in all phases of the development lifecycle

-Demonstrated experience working with a tailored Systems Engineering approach

-Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and tools

-Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)

-Experience performing or reviewing safety analyses, including one or more of Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs), Fault Tree Analyses (FTAs), and Failure Modes and Effects/Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMEAs/FMECAs)

-Experience with one or more of software architecting, development, or verification testing.

Physical Requirements

-Occasionally required to work non-business hours to support experiments (testing, experiments, demonstration, or other activities) as well as and travel to customer sites.
