Position Description
The Department of History and the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations seek to jointly appoint a tenure-track professor in Vietnamese History. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2025. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or terminal degree in History or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins. Strong Vietnamese language skills are required.
Additional Qualifications
Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching and advising is desired.
