US Medical Operations Manager, Dermatology (Non-Alliance)

Our Team:

  • This position will report into the US Medical Immunology team which is a segment of the Medical Affairs Specialty Care organization.

  • Our Medical Affairs function serves as a valued strategic partner with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access on therapeutic solutions to support patients’ needs. Job Description:

This position reports to the US Senior Medical Director, Dermatology.

Main job responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day oversight/administration and support for team systems and processes by working with relevant internal stakeholders (Procurement, contracting, budgeting).

  • Provides project management for key initiatives, including advisory boards, by supporting project requirements mapping, vendor assessment/selection, tracking of project milestones and appropriate documentation.

  • Provides support for onboarding of new hires.

  • Leads coordination of large internal and/or external meetings including logistics.

  • Partners with the MSL Field Lead in the development, coordination, and implementation of field medical excellence initiatives (e.g., field standards, enhancement of systems/processes, career paths, training curriculum, benchmarking and qualitative assessment of field medical initiatives/performance) to drive consistency and efficiency of processes across the field medical organization, ensuring that team processes align with systems, and identify/recommend/support process improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinates field content management to ensure approved resources and materials are uploaded and stored in the appropriate platform; provides oversight/coordination to ensure compliant use.

  • Oversees field medical training.

  • Oversees process and reporting for field medical activities/initiatives (e.g. field insight reports, KPIs, MIR reports, team performance dashboards). Provides support to ensure sources of field insights are considered for medical insight analytics. Coordinates with MSL Field Lead to provide field medical project dashboard updates.

  • Develops and supports implementation of measures to ensure audit preparedness.

ABOUT YOU

  • Education : Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree/MBA preferred.

  • Work Experience : Minimum 5 years project management experience in Medical Affairs preferred.

  • Skills/knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Medical Affairs organisation and operations.

  • Strong project management and tracking skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of business processes and systems.

  • Ability to analyze and improve processes.
