State of Massachusetts Assistant District Attorney - Appeals in Canton, Massachusetts
Seeking an Assistant District Attorney to work in the Norfolk District Attorney’s Appeals Unit. * Duties include responding to records requests, including requests under the Public Records Law and subpoenas. * Other responsibilities may include drafting and arguing briefs and other post-conviction pleadings and researching and responding to time-sensitive legal questions. * Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in Massachusetts. * At least 1 year experience working with the criminal justice system. * Position based at main office in Canton. Must be able to travel to courts within the Commonwealth. This is a full-time position based in Canton, MA. While there is the possibility of one day of remote work each week, this is primarily an in-person position.
