Internship Summary

The Point32Health Summer Internship program will provide you with an opportunity to apply your classroom material and skills to the professional work environment. It will immerse you into the company's brand and culture through networking, social and developmental opportunities all while connecting you with the group of interns as a whole and engaging in professional and personal development sessions.

Along with program planned events, specific department areas will also provide technical training and developmental opportunities in areas that are specific to your areas of study.

Point32Health seeks to create a diverse talent pipeline to early in career positions through the internship program and intends to extend job offers to high performing and motivated interns at the conclusion of the internship. Job offers are contingent upon performance and degree completion.

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

Internship Details

-10- Week Summer Internship

-Paid (Bi-Weekly)

-Summer 2023 Dates: June 5- August 11th

-Hybrid (requiring a minimum of 1 in person workday at the Canton, MA location, with some weeks requiring 2)

-Equipment provided (Laptop, mouse, keyboard, headphones)

Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

  • Working collaboratively with the direct team of colleagues in your area along with working in collaboration with stakeholders to find and solve problems

  • Learning about the structure and delivery of healthcare from the payor perspective

  • Management and responsibility of an assigned project with supervision and guidance

  • Engaging in professional and personal development opportunities as well as attending events and activities intended to showcase the company, its values and mission

  • Providing a presentation of work and experience to leadership at the conclusion of the internship

First Round of Screening and Interview Invitation Extension- April 19- 27

First Round Virtual Interviews- May 1- May 5

Second Round Virtual Interviews- May 8-May 11

Decision Letters Emailed By-Thursday, May 11 (Responses due by Monday, May 15th at 12pm EDT)

*Subsequent Rounds of Interviews will be conducted on an as needed basis following the extension of decision letters

  • Currently enrolled juniors or seniors, with majors in a relevant field of study

  • Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills

  • An interest in the healthcare industry, in learning and in creating positive change

  • Eagerness to learn and work with a team

  • Adaptability and Open Mindedness

*All interns will need to successfully pass a criminal background check to begin
