  • Analyze and correct equipment malfunctions by troubleshooting, replacing defective parts, making adjustments and repairs, including all required verifications and documentation

  • Analyzing and correcting process defects- inspects or tests components, inspects equipment, adjusts process parameters, valves, switches, controllers, etc. as required to achieve acceptable parts.

  • Analyzing automation malfunctions- checks against troubleshooting procedures, work instructions, and specifications

  • Providing technical assistance and mentoring to other associates, including operators.

  • Complying with all policies and regulations in order to to manufacture a high-quality product at all times.

  • Utilizing a variety of machinery and tools, completing assigned manufacturing activity.

  • Completing daily documentation

  • Exhibiting safety awareness at all times- adheres to established Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining regular attendance.

  • Following cleanroom protocols for hygiene/PPE

  • Working collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

  • Able to rapidly and properly conduct changeovers by setting automation and manufacturing equipment.

  • Facilitating equipment availability and minimizing downtime by proper equipment maintenance and repair.

  • Maintaining effective communication between manufacturing operators and management.

  • Continuously developing technical skills by attending training workshops, seminars and working with other professionals.

  • Able to work overtime, alternate shifts or work schedule as required by business needs.

  • Performing all jobs as requested by the immediate supervisor or management.

  • Completes set-up and breakdown operation for complex automation equipment including robotics, conveyors and liquid lines.

  • Adheres to company and OSHA guidelines.

  • Utilizing HMI to make machine adjustments.

  • Supporting new equipment installation and validation.

  • Assisting with setup of new equipment

  • Other tasks as necessary to keep equipment operating as efficiently as possible

  • Working collaboratively with Engineering to investigate failures.

  • Contributing towards continuous improvement efforts.


  • Education: Associates degree, vocational tech training or relevant work experience (3+ years)

  • Must have:

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Two or more years working in a manufacturing environment performing set-ups/equipment maintenance.

  • A background in automation, including troubleshooting issues on automation equipment

  • Motivated worker with the ability to accomplish tasks without supervision

  • Able to work cross-functionally

  • Able to prioritize workload.

  • Good problem-solving skills.


  • English language skills in both reading & writing

  • Ability to perform basic shop math as well as reading blueprints.

  • Sitting/walking/standing, able to assemble small parts.

  • Able to work on a computer and operate machinery.

  • Ability to shift work schedule for periods as required. Possibility of working 4 day, 10 hour schedule).

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
