Position Summary

The Medical Device Assembler Operator will assemble, test and package components and catheters.

Principal Responsibilities

• Follow clean room protocols including good hygiene, gowning, hair net & PPE.

• Meet or exceed daily production goals.

• Follow safety regulations and maintain safety awareness.

• Adhere to policies, work instructions, quality regulations, SOPs, WI, cGMPs, GDPs, and FDA

guidelines in the effort to manufacture high-quality medical devices at all times.

• Perform assembly of components and assemblies working from written instructions, drawings and BOMs.

• Assemble various components

• Perform product testing and final assembly packaging.

• Perform repair/rework on assemblies.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma/Trade School Diploma/GED preferred.

• Experience using hand tools and manufacturing equipment preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

• Medical device experience preferred.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to read and write English

• Basic computer skills

• Simple shop math

• Manual dexterity to handle small parts

• Visual acuity

• Ability to interpret blueprints preferred

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

• Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, grasping, talking, hearing and visual acuity to read and operate machinery.
