Job Title: QC Inspector

Job Description

Candidate will be working as a Job shop inspector within the machine shop. Responsible for checking parts in the QC area, or working on the floor to check work in process. Candidates will also check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products, as well as the production procedures. This job involves measuring machined parts using micrometers, micro height, CMM and overseeing procedures. CMM will be used to inspect various parts for multiple industries. Familiarity/experience in Machining environment is required. Reliability & accuracy are a must.

Hard Skills

• 2+ years of experience of inspection in a machine shop

• CMM experience

• Blueprint reading

• Measurement tool use (such as micrometer)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

Machine shop. Small with limited amount of employees. Will only have one other person working alongside them in the QC department.
