Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Description

• Lead the Quality function including Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality and Quality Control

• Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality, and delivery targets

• Lead QMS certification and audit activities

• Ensure customer quality issues and non-conformances are resolved quickly

• Establish Quality Performance data and Key Performance Indicators; provide the Management team with regular updates on Quality activities.

• Maintain the quality management system (based on ISO 9001)

• Ensures that Management Reviews are conducted in collaboration with the plant manager

• Grow the Quality team through hiring and development

Hard Skills

• Several years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or a related STEM field required.

• Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development

• Experience with the ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110

• Proven knowledge of Root Cause/Corrective Action methodology, 8D, 5 why

• Ability to build a culture that promotes a team environment

• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Hands-on approach in taking charge of issues on the factory floor and seeing them through to resolution

• Demonstrable background in Root Cause/Corrective Action and data analysis

• A working knowledge of SAP preferred

• Ability to travel

This is a fully on-site position in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
