Job Title: Distribution Technician

Job Description

The Distribution Technician will be responsible for preparing and accounting for all material movement documentation, updating the Oracle system, and ensuring proper placement of all incoming and outgoing materials. This role involves preparing materials for shipment using various modes of transportation, verifying receipts, and maintaining accurate records. The technician will also preserve the quality and integrity of materials during loading and unloading activities and ensure the warehouse is kept safe, clean, and presentable at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update Oracle system accordingly.

• Place all incoming and outgoing materials, including finished goods, raw materials, and supplies, in the appropriate staging and storage locations.

• Prepare materials for shipment involving all modes of transportation (LTL, TL, ocean, rail, and airfreight).

• Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products are introduced into our systems and maintain accurate records.

• Preserve the quality and integrity of materials during loading and unloading activities.

• Maintain designated warehouses in a safe, clean, and presentable manner at all times.

• Print and collate shipping documents by order.

• Respond to phones and communications with other departments.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in packing, stocking, inventory control, and packaging.

• Experience in loading and handling materials.

• Ability to update and manage Oracle systems.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
