ABCDiario Behavioral Consulting provides quality, culturally competent applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for all children with developmental disorders. Our therapists specialize in intervention strategies to help children communicate both basic and emotional needs. JOB DESCRIPTION - BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN Reports to: Supervising BCBA Department: Home-based ABA Program Shift: afterschool hours Status: Part-time Location: East Shore/ Middlesex County Responsibilities ? Provide direct 1:1 therapy to clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) ages 3-12 in home and community settings. ? Implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming as prescribed by the BCBA Supervisor. ? Caregiver support and/or training as prescribed by the BCBA Supervisor. ? Data collection as prescribed by the BCBA Supervisor. ? Session notes at the end of session. ? Receiving ongoing training and supervision by supervising clinicians. ? Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code and HIPAA/confidentiality requirements. ? Attend staff meeting and trainings monthly. Minimum Qualifications ? Education: High school diploma, associate or bachelor?s degree or working towards BA or BS in psychology, education, or related field. ? Experience: at least one year working with individuals with developmental disorders or autism. at least one year implementing ABA interventions. ? Background checks: All employees should complete state and federal background checks before working independently with patients. ? Training: CPR and First Aid ? Reliable form of transportation to visit clients at their home. ? Mandated reporter training (https://51a.middlesexcac.org/instructions) Additional Job Requirements: ? Successful completion of fingerprinting, criminal history background check, ? Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. ? Attend new staff orientation and successfully complete training handouts. (Failure to successfully complete training handouts can jeopardize the ability to start assignment).
