Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and within established policies and procedures, the Logistics Clerk is responsible for the timely and cost-effective administration of logistics operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Documentation o Confirm the accuracy of all purchase orders and process within 24 hours of receipt. o Create Bill of Ladings or export documents on all purchase orders to be shipped. o Process all breakage claims and resolve refund requests. Scheduling o Manage and schedule timely and cost-effective deliveries of customer orders. o Schedule internal and external carrier appointments for LTL and TL deliveries. o Communicate delays, shortages, and errors to the Operations and Sales Manager. o Schedule shipping for all show pallets per show guidelines. o Reconcile daily and weekly Open Sales Order reports. o Track key performance indicators (KPI) and collaborate with operations team on process improvement. Sales Support o Communicates with Sales Manager regarding pricing discrepancies and updates database as needed. o Ensures the accurate delivery status is provided to the customers. o Processes sample purchase orders for the Sales team. o Processes dropship and webstore purchase orders within 24 hours of receipt. Logistics Database Management o Maintain carrier contact databases and ensure the accuracy of customer contact and portal addresses. o Gather data and maintain history of all pricing per lane monthly for review with the Manager. o Perform other duties as assigned. Personal Skills and Abilities: o Detail and deadline oriented. o Excellent planning and organizational skills. o Proficient in Microsoft Office, Quick Books & Social Media platforms. o Team player with the ability to \"think outside the box\". Job Requirements: o High School education or equivalent. College experience is beneficial but not required. o Three or more years of related professional and customer service experience. o Experience in manufacturing or food industry is preferred but not required. Physical Demands: o Frequently lift, push, or move products that weigh 1-20 pounds. o May include transporting product up or down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
