Title: On-site Coordinator Location: Chelsea, MA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Vice President of Operations: Hours: Sunday from 5 am to 2 pm or finish and Tuesday through Thursday from 3 pm to 12 pm or finish Job Description: Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the On-site Coordinator?s responsibilities are to provide our customer with a certain number of employees on a daily basis, in different positions, as possible, with the assistance of the WSS branch office. The On-site is also responsible for most administrative duties as needed in regard to safety attendance, investigations, discipline etc. They also oversee and maintain the GMP requirements. On-site Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ? Support, exhibit and communicate a positive pro-customer, pro-WSS attitude when communicating with customer owners, executives, managers, supervisors as well as WSS employees working at the customer facility. Grievances should be communicated at the WSS branch or with WSS corporate and WSS HR. ? Responsible for appropriate daily temporary staffing levels as specifically required by the customer. ? Track and report accurate daily attendance on assigned shift. Document absences, quits, no shows/ no calls and any other information in detail. ? Managing and documenting all requests for vacations, leaves of absence in coordination with WSS HR. ? Work at a fast pace to fill client needs quickly, effectively and efficiently ? Responsible for all mentoring, counseling and disciplinary actions. ? Responsible to assist customer supervisor with performance reviews of WSS employees that perform duties at their facility on your assigned shift. ? Clear, concise and professional communications with customer and WSS employees at all times. ? Making sure that WSS employees are in place at their designated workspaces on time so production can start on time at the beginning of the shift. ? Managing and covering breaks and mealtimes and the return of employees from breaks and mealtimes on time. ? Responsible for making sure new WSS employees are properly trained for their positions and/or properly retrained if required. ? Enforce GMP rules and standards while maintaining those same standards yourself. Leading by example. ? Counseling WSS employees that are not working up to minimum production standards as required by the customer. Documenting any assistance given and continued failure to meet performance failures if they persist. ? Issue verbal and written warnings if necessary. Getting advice or assistance from HR with this, if necessary or unsure about wording or circumstances. Suspensions require HR authority. ? Manage all workers compensation paperwork and investigate incidents as trained and assist HR with any further related requests. ? Assist HR with incident complaints of any nature. This can include filling out initial reports regarding WSS employees, submittals to HR and investigations up to termination. Includes Non-conformance reports provided to WSS by client. ? Work with safety supervisor to keep environment hazard free. Assist with safety audits if needed. Responsible for reporting any daily safety hazards that arise. ? Make sure that employees are wearing the approved and required PPE at all times on the production floor. Inform corporate when it is necessary to order more safety glasses. ? Understand and enforce basic labor laws and co-employment issues. ? Practices company confidentiality regarding WSS information, policies and procedures when in the presence of other staffing firms.
