Boston College Administrative Assistant - Temporary in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts

The Temporary Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for Boston College, duties include but not limited to Provide administrative support relative to policies, plans, and objectives as required by department Handles confidential and non-routine information Greets visitors, answers telephones, and relays messages, directing or providing information to callers Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects Perform duties such as preparing correspondence, processing requests, creating and maintaining records and documents by following established procedures Perform related work as required Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience. Requirements Excellent computer skills a must, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Strong command of the English language, including verbal, writing, grammar, and spelling skills Must have excellent planning and time management skills and an ability to orchestrate multiple priorities from multiple sources in a busy environment Boston College conducts pre-employment background checks as part of the hiring process and requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
