Job Description The Admissions Assistant in the Carroll School of Management is a vital member of the Admissions team charged with supporting the various enrollment management systems and application process for all prospective students. The Admissions Assistant will assist with operating back-end office databases and enrollment systems containing applicant credentials and data in support of the recruitment and conversion of quality MBA, MSF, MSA, & Ph.D. candidates. They will support the office operations - inventory, purchasing, space, technology, UIS, decision processing, and DCF processing. A bachelor?s degree is preferred. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. A candidate?s skill set should also include strong facility with Slate, FileMaker (or comparable database management software), Periodic evenings and weekends, and limited domestic travel required. Position Details: Department: 057022 - CGSOM Admissions Position: 00010151 - Admissions Assistant. Graduate Office, Carroll School of Management Grade: 2ND Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $34,700 to $43,400; salary commensurate with relevant experience. Requirements The minimum requirements for this position include previous experience in an admissions office, with preference to graduate professional admissions work. A bachelor?s degree is preferred. Experience in consumer relations, marketing environment is ideal. University or higher education admissions experience is preferred. Ability to articulate the graduate program admissions requirements. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to think strategically and work effectively in a team-based environment. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database management software. Experience in an admissions office for graduate professional admissions work.
