Job Description
Preference will be given to internal applicants
The Systems Analyst will be required to support the implementation and maintenance of systems within the Application Services team. More specifically, supporting the following groups: University Advancement & Facilities and Document Management. The position will report to an Applications Manager and be part of multiple technical teams chartered to deliver complex applications in support of the University's business needs. The position will be responsible for working on all aspects of the project lifecycle including design, requirements development, integration, documentation, testing, and delivery.
Specific responsibilities include:
Gathering business and functional requirements through client engagements
Preparing functional designs of product customizations and features
Performing complex data analysis tasks
Preparing test plans & scripts and executing test cases
Conducting user training and developing training materials
Providing system support and troubleshooting
Work closely with customers and the implementation team to deliver successful implementations
Implementation of Blackbaud Advancement CRM Systems
Support for all University Advancement systems
Support for SoftDocs Document Management Systems
Support for all Facility Management systems
Software Review, Analysis, and Support
Business Analysis
System Administration for all systems within the group
Project Management
Title and salary commensurate with relevant experience based on the following titles and hiring ranges:
Associate Applications Systems Analyst (range: 62k â 78K):
Minimum of one year of professional IT experience or 1-3 years as a non-exempt employee working in an IT environment.
Applications Systems Analyst (range: 76K â95K):
Minimum of 3 years of business and systems experience and at least 2 years of data analysis, design and implementation experience to include working with user departments to define and assess business needs and programming requirements.
Senior Systems Analyst (range: 92k to 114K):
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience to include applications development or business systems analysis experience.
Requirements
Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant discipline plus
Strong documentation and analytical skills
Proficiency with Google Suite of applications
Proficiency with wiki type tools, such as Confluence
Demonstrated verbal, writing, and presentation skills
Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, PL/SQL or Access
Familiarity with web applications
Client or customer-oriented experience
