Job Description
The Assistant Lab Director position entails assisting in the supervision, development, troubleshooting and planning of undergraduate laboratory courses as well as performing research and testing that lead to the implementation of new experiments. Other responsibilities also include: assuring maintenance and management of inventories, preparation of supplies, and surveying and maintaining lab equipment. The candidate should also feel comfortable teaching a section of an undergraduate laboratory either in a semester long capacity or as needed.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $63,800 to $79,750; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
A Master's degree in Molecular/Cell Biology or Microbiology
Excellent organizational and writing skills,
The ability to work independently and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ideal applicants should have experience instructing undergraduates in a laboratory based course, as well as some work in a research laboratory setting.
