Data Analyst On-siteQuality & TrainingFull time Chicopee, Massachusetts, United States Description: The Mental Health Association, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Data Specialist to assist the Vice President of Quality and Organizational Impact in the development, implementation, and oversight of MHA\'s continuous quality improvement and quality management program. This role focuses on maintaining quantitative and qualitative measurement systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. **This position is NOT remote; it requires on-site presence in our Chicopee, MA office. Only candidates who can be physically present in the office will be considered.** Key Responsibilities: Data Promotion and Benchmarking: Promote the use of data across the organization. Develop benchmark MHA quality statistics to compare with state and national trends. Collaborate with trade organizations and human service providers to establish benchmarks for specific services. Monitor external environments to anticipate changes in quality and regulatory standards. Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and process large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis. Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Interpret findings to provide meaningful insights that support agency objectives. Quality Metrics Support: Gather key quality metrics from various systems (state reporting, client information, etc.). Monitor the accuracy and compliance of information used for quality reporting. Reporting: Generate reports for various departments summarizing key metrics and highlighting areas for improvement. Analyze trends from quantitative and qualitative data against targets and expected outcomes. Database Management: Assist in maintaining and updating databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analysis. Regulatory Compliance: Provide documentation for licensing and regulatory audits, working cooperatively with administrative departments. Requirements Education: Bachelor\'s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional Experience: Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R) and strong Excel skills are essential. Experience with statistics, data collection, and outcome measurements. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex findings clearly. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently while being proactive in addressing challenges. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies in the evolving field of data analysis.
