Job Title: Welding Assembler
Job Description
This position will primarily involve aluminum TIG welding for 70-80% of the day, with additional tasks in the assembly process.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, diagrams, and/or schematics.
Assemble and straighten complex assemblies to specification.
Measure and inspect assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
Identify potential issues or problems and recommend corrective action measures.
Complete all paperwork and documentation required with orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Minimum 1 year of aluminum TIG welding experience.
Experience with hand tools.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand and follow instructions based on schematics.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Candidates do not need to be expert welders but should have some TIG aluminum experience, even if it was brief.
Individuals from hands-on backgrounds such as assembly, autobody, auto mechanic, construction, maintenance, etc., will do well in this role.

Work Environment
Mid-size shop with temperature-controlled conditions, very clean and well-kept environment. The role involves 80% welding and 20% assembly. Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Massachusetts.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00
