We are actively taking every measure to protect our Residents and Employees during the COVID-19 situation including: distribution of PPE, temperature screenings upon arrival to work, sanitizing stations and periodic COVID testing required onsite provided by our dedicated infection control team
We are looking to fill a COVID Testing, Symptom Management and Contact Tracing Manager role for our Concord, MA campus! This position is an integral component of the Home Office, providing oversight of the COVID testing program and other related tasks as assigned.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts tests on staff and residents – approximately 200 plus per week.
Schedules testing staff to ensure appropriate coverage at testing locations.
Provides oversight of the daily testing drive-thru at the Concord Campus.
Provides support to other Campuses which are testing.
Identifies and communicates positive test results to Senior Management and the Leadership teams.
Collaborates with Leadership teams when positive results are identified, assisting with contact tracing.
Symptom Management and Contact Tracing
Reviews the Services daily reports to identify medical issues that may relate to COVID e.g. symptoms presented by Residents/Employees/Vendors.
Leads the Clinical meetings to review, discuss and track symptom management.
Conducts contact tracing with all Service areas on all staff and residents with COVID symptoms.
Works with internal purchasing and our vendors to ensure that we have all the needed testing materials.
Monitors all levels of PPE and work with the internal department to ensure adequacy of supplies
Liaison with Labs
Serves as the point person with all labs that conduct COVID testing. This includes organizing different tests that need to be conducted based on medical or organizational needs.
Follows up on results to ensure timeliness communication and follow up
Reviews/evaluates vendors for types of testing – PCR, Antigen, costs, rapidity and provides information to Senior Leadership team.
Result and Appointment Management
Serves as the main point of contact for results and scheduling of appointments.
Provides oversight of the online portal which tracks all appointments and results.
Representative at Clinical meetings
Attends all medical/clinical meetings representing the testing team.
Insurance follow up
Ensures that all insurance information transmitted to the lab is accurate. This includes follow up with all members of the organization.
Tracks the monthly costs associated with additional costs to NEDA exclusive of insurance coverage.
Submits requisitions to Finance monthly for payment to Emerson Hospital, and other lab providers.
Must have computer skills to access the company’s Portal, Microsoft office products.
Provides monthly reports re: testing.
Collects information re: testing compliance in all service areas weekly.
Provides other reports/data as requested.
- Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Paramedic with appropriate experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong project management skills including the ability to work on many projects at one time.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all employees in English both written and verbal.
- Able to lift delivered packages, medications, and plates of cookies for the residents ranging upwards of 25lb.
