Robert Half Finance & Accounting is working with a respected construction client in the Concord, MA area seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join its team. This is a permanent role, reporting into the company's Owner, with potential growth opportunity down the road. Our client is looking for an accounting professional with at least 5 years of experience, and proven expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and payroll. The Bookkeeper will be managing cash and helping to ensure the flow of existing jobs. They will partner with an outside CPA firm as it relates to bigger picture end of year financials.

QuickBooks experience is preferred, and construction industry experience is preferred as well (not required).

Requirements - Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Foundational knowledge in payroll

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• QuickBooks experience

• Experience with bank reconciliations

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

• Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

• Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

  • Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

• Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • 5+ years of related experience- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
