Crane Currency Lead Laminator/Editor Operator in Dalton, Massachusetts

Teamwork is Currency at Crane We're looking for a Lead Laminator/Editor Operator who will be responsible for the operations of both the Lamination and Editing equipment along with the sophisticated inspection and marking systems associated with this machinery. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure timely delivery of laminated security products meeting all quality specifications for final slitting and preparation in the Thread Room for papermaking use. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to troubleshoot the equipment in this operation. Accurate record keeping and inventory control will also be important responsibilities included in this job. The incumbent must be able to perform both lamination and editing operations and be able to work on the sheeters and in the thread room. Crane offers pay starting at $25.83/hour, with generous shift differentials including 7.5% for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift workers. Experience with Web handling operations such as sheeters or thread slitting equipment. Ability to learn basic computer skills. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to use and read a ruler. Mechanical and technical aptitude. Proven communication and skills. Ability to work calmly under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience handling web materials such as rolls of paper or film (desired). Previous experience operating or working on manufacturing equipment.
