Welder Job Opportunity in Dalton, MA Job Position: Temp to Hire (For the right person) Salary: \$20-\$25/HR Schedule: Mon-Thu 6AM - 4:30PM TEC is recruiting for a Welder for an organization that is committed to serving specific needs of Law Enforcement, U.S. Military, Government, Competition, and Fire and EMS professionals. Position Summary: As a Welder you will perform all aspects of welding, brazing, and cutting using gas and electrical welding equipment. Responsibilities: Fabricate products by cutting, burning, and welding various materials Use cutting and bending equipment to configure material to size and shape Repair equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded (set up, assemble, and tack weld) Requirements: General knowledge of machinery as applicable to metal-working industry Vocational training and/or high school diploma or GED plus relevant experience Knowledge of welding operations, Mig Welding preferred Knowledge of the use of hand tools and shop operations Ability to follow directions Ability to read blueprints Good mechanical skills
