Job Description:

Sign on bonus up to $3000 (pro-rated for part-time)

Under the direction and in collaboration with the Executive Director of Addiction Treatment Services, assumes overall responsibility for the delivery of medication assisted treatment (methadone and suboxone) and counseling services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plans, develops and manages all aspects of the Opiate Treatment Program.

  2. Hires, supervises, trains and reviews staff required to operate program.

  3. Maintains current knowledge of methadone, Vivitrol and suboxone treatments.

  4. Liaison with other NBH services to assure linkage to continuum of care.

  5. Attend and report to management and other staff meetings as required.

  6. Manages all aspects of program's finances including budget, revenue collection, expense monitoring.

  7. Represent NBH to larger community, other agencies and organizations.

  8. Identify and pursue new sources of revenue and program direction as available.

  9. Maintain client records and other data as required by regulatory agencies.

  10. Under the direction of the Medical Director ensures adherence to the medical protocols and guidelines.

  11. Ensures that the program complies with all state and federal regulations concerning methadone and suboxone.

  12. Develop a marketing plan to ensure census growth.

  13. Maintain licensure, certification and other credentials required to operate program; responsible for assuring that relevant facilities meet applicable health and safety standards.

  14. Manages all administrative and clinical staff through Clinical Supervisor. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  15. Responsible for managing the program budget on a daily basis. In addition, works within approved budget; develops and implements cost saving measures.

Qualifications:

Master's degree (M. A.); or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the delivery of methadone treatment services. Must have prior supervisory experience.

Must demonstrate ability to relate to a substance abuse treatment population in a sensitive manner, an interest and willingness to work in a multicultural setting and must share a customer service orientation. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Manages difficult or emotional client situations; Responds promptly to client needs and maintains confidentiality.
