Job Title: Anatomic Pathologist
Provide medical insight to the development of design specifications; medical expertise to regulatory submissions; participation in meetings with regulators (e.g. FDA); review of marketing and promotional materials.
Support the growth of company's Pharmaceutical Partnerships business through cultivation of peer-to-peer relationships within pharmaceutical companies.
Play an integral role in building company's brand as a thought leader; actively participate in planning and provision of training for external medical/scientific speakers and members of product sales teams.
Actively participate in review of cases and results as part of product development and assay validation.
A deep understanding of/experience with laboratory medicine and anatomic pathology. Must have M.D. degree with American Board of Medical Specialties certification in an appropriate specialty (anatomic and clinical pathology, preferred).
Molecular tissue pathology experience is required.
Experience in risk management/safety assessments in the medical devices industry is desirable.
Successful experience in advocating and advancing in vitro diagnostic products

Education - List of Education, Certifications, Training
MD degree with 5+ years of experience post-training, preferably with at least 2 years in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry or within a clinical reference laboratory, or Academia.
Academic and research experience is highly desirable, along with a track record of publications in relevant areas
Prefer board certification in anatomic and/or clinical pathology, with subspecialty certification in molecular pathology, hematopathology or breast pathology
