Clinical Director of Developmental & Cognitive Services

We are seeking for a Clinical Director for our Developmental & Cognitive Services Division!

In this vital role, the Clinical Director of DCS focuses on clinical leadership within the DCS division through orientation, training, consultation, quality management and program development.

The Clinical Director will:

  • establish and implement practice standards that are consistent with standards in the

field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Brain Injuries

  • maintain focus on the provision of high quality, progressive services that are responsive to the needs of the community

  • represent the organization and division mission, services and programs in forums internal and external to the agency, to best meet individual, program, and division and agency goals

  • supervise the clinical managers for the division including the RN and BCBA’s

    Schedule: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    Salary: $105,000/year

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated high-level skills in clinical assessment and treatment of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and brain injury

  • Demonstrated skills in training and leadership of program staff

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) and the ability to make effective public presentations

  • Must be able to work in excess of 40 hours per week, provide 24-hour on-call coverage on rotation, and to respond to emergency calls as necessary required

  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

Required Experience

  • Master’s degree and independent licensure in a related clinical discipline

  • Seven years related experience including at least five years in a supervisory and management capacity
