Software Engineer (REQ #R352) position available with Authright, Inc. in Dedham, Massachusetts. Anticipated salary for the position: \$122,970 - \$142,970 per year; full-time Responsibilities: Implement ForgeRock identity solutions, ensuring the creation of a highly secure and scalable authentication and authorization system. Design high-concurrency cloud service architectures to support enterprise-level applications, ensuring consistency and reliability across platforms. Handle advanced development tasks for both front-end and back-end, integrating complex features and optimizing performance to provide high efficiency and quality experiences for end-users. Conduct upgrades of existing identity authentication and authorization systems, integrating efficiently with other key internal services. Manage complex SQL database migration projects utilizing modern container technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, transitioning from on-premises to AWS. Restructure legacy system code to enhance architectural quality, increase code reusability, and optimize data processing, thereby improving overall system performance. The position requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. The position also requires six (6) months of experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation. Professional/academic experience must include the following skills and technologies: Developing software applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python; Data structures and algorithms; React and Springboot; Modern cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or GCP; Managing cloud resources and delivering software products to the customer using cloud platforms; Software development principles and Software Development Life Cycle; Designing database schemas, procedures, and triggers for relational databases, and knowledge of use cases of NoSQL databases in different scenarios; and Designing, creating, and conducting unit tests, stress tests, and other types of software testing.
