Vice President of Human Resources

Riverside Community Care is one of the largest and most respected community-based not-for-profit behavioral healthcare and human service organizations in Massachusetts. We are searching for a Vice President of Human Resources who wants to be part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of others!

As the VP of HR you will:

  • champion and oversee the HR function and organizational mission and vision

  • partner with leadership and serve as the influential voice for HR strategies, philosophies, and initiatives within the organization

  • lead the Talent Acquisition function in its efforts to recruit and hire a talented workforce and partner with division leaders to foster teamwork between the talent acquisition team members and hiring managers

  • provide leadership to the compensation and benefits functions ensuring competitiveness with relevant organizations and work with HR managers to put employees first and create an environment where compensation and benefits packages are continually evaluated

  • provide leadership to the Employee Relations team in providing a high quality resource for managers to utilize when dealing with issues that arise within the workforce

  • provide leadership to the Training & Professional development team on design, development, and implementation of an employee-training program aligned with the organization’s needs

  • partner with leadership and staff to develop engagement and retention programs across the organization, using the employee surveys as a benchmark

    The VP will have the demonstrated ability to create a collaborative environment that reflects operational effectiveness, superior customer service, and cultural alignment with organizational priorities.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other leading HR technology

  • Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of HR leadership experience
