Robert Half Risk Analyst - General in Dorchester, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Risk Analyst - General, based in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This role is within the technology operations sector and involves managing key governance routines, coordinating materials for critical committees, and partnering with Internal Audit Compliance and Risk Management stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various functional areas within Technology Operations as well as the broader organization to manage key governance routines.

• Coordinate and prepare materials for critical committees.

• Develop reporting and ensure consistent and adequate messaging for key management routines.

• Monitor critical areas, escalate issues, and report findings to appropriate stakeholders.

• Evaluate documentation to ensure completeness, gain feedback from key stakeholders, and confirm alignment with enterprise policies.

• Assist subject matter experts in creating documentation.

• Use skills in Interest Rate Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Market Risk Management, Applicable Regulatory Requirements, Regulatory Risk, Banking compliance, and Audit Compliance to manage and mitigate risk.

• Liaise with Internal Audit Compliance and Risk Management stakeholders to share information and address issues as required. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of three years experience in a risk analysis role, ideally within a financial institution or similar field

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Interest Rate Risk Management

• Proven expertise in Credit Risk Management

• Proficiency in Market Risk Management

• Familiarity with Applicable Regulatory Requirements pertinent to the financial sector

• Experience in Regulatory Risk and Banking Compliance

• Strong ability to conduct Audit Compliance in line with industry standards

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other risk analysis tools

• Strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
