Description We are offering an opportunity for a Database Developer to join our team in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The focus of this role is to assist the team in implementing and producing data quality rules in Informatica IDQ, a key component of our operations in the telecom industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely and contribute to the enhancement of our information technology systems operations.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently assist in implementing data quality rules in Informatica IDQ.

• Perform data profiling and data engineering tasks.

• Conduct reviews, analyze and evaluate information technology systems operations.

• Identify, document, report, and track system issues.

• Support the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables.

• Develop data quality rules in IDQ.

• Use Python for various tasks as needed.

• Utilize Snowflake Informatica in managing data.

• Oversee and manage production and implementation processes.

• Work on documentation, budget processes, and hiring processes. Requirements • Proven experience in the role of Database Developer or similar role.

• Proficiency in Python and other database programming languages.

• Familiarity with data management and data quality principles.

• Expertise in database systems operations.

• Demonstrated experience with Informatica, Snowflake, and other database technologies.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Proficiency in data profiling and other data analysis techniques.

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems.

• Experience in production and implementation of database systems.

• Familiarity with hiring and budget processes.

• Expertise in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• Strong engineering skills with an emphasis on structured design and implementation.

• Excellent documentation skills to maintain system processes and procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
