Job Summary

Embark on a hospitality adventure as our Beverage Manager for the new premium lounge at BOS. In this role, you'll craft exceptional dining experiences and lead operations from the ground up. If you're a hospitality expert with a flair for innovation and eager to make your mark in our exciting new venture, join us in creating exceptional dining experiences.

As the Beverage Manager and Mixologist, you are responsible for ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of excellence in the front of the house. You will manage and staff the front of house team, ensuring that all standards set by the location, company, and client are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and develop all front of house (FOH) restaurant staff in fine dining service standards.

  • Manage and design the beverage and cocktail program, ensuring a creative and appealing menu.

  • Order and maintain inventory for all beverage and cocktail supplies.

  • Develop and implement seasonal beverage specials and promotions.

  • Train staff on proper mixology techniques and service standards for beverages.

  • Maintain schedules, payroll, and other administrative tasks to control food and beverage costs, including inventory management.

  • Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings daily.

  • Maintain communication with all departments to ensure customer service needs are met.

  • Create daily seating charts and station assignments, coordinating with support staff based on expected business.

  • Manage reservation systems and books to accommodate business demands.

  • Create and oversee completion of side work assignments with wait staff.

  • Ensure the highest level of service to clients/guests, guaranteeing their satisfaction.

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining room area.

  • Investigate and resolve all client/guest complaints in a timely, professional, and diplomatic manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or equivalent fine dining experience.

  • Six to eight years of upscale fine dining experience, with at least three years in a management role.

  • Experience in cash handling and reconciliation of cash banks and POS systems.

  • Ability to hire, develop, train, coach, and counsel hourly associates.

  • Skill in planning, marketing, and executing special events and promotions.

  • Ability to monitor and track budgets and expenditures.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of customer service techniques and current service standards.

  • Ability to remain poised and focused under pressure.

  • Proficiency in basic office programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and reservation systems.

  • Adherence to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
