General Responsibilities:

This person will be responsible for running Alloy packaging machine, IPG AND Rofin laser marking equipment, building varibit and step drill kits in support of high volume production. This person will also be responsible for consumable stock levels and assisting the Team Leader as needed. Additionally, this person may be utilized as a ‘floater’ to fill in where needed on the production floor at any of the various operations connected to the packaging process.

Duties:

• Verify product and quantity for all products to be laser marked and packaged.

• Operator needs to be able to do complete change overs on Alloy packaging equipment to be able to go from one packs to Step drill kits.

• Possess some computer knowledge to make packaging labels and to run the Rofin laser marking equipment.

• Attention to detail is a must for this position.

• Be able to reconcile items from weekly cycle counts and investigate all inventory discrepancies.

• Operate various equipment such as hand trucks, strapping gun as well as manual hand wrapping rolls.

• Must be willing to work weekends in support of production if needed.

Climate:

Demanding, fast-paced position resulting from deadline pressures, simultaneous competing demands and rapidly changing priorities. Must be able to execute tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Must be able to work independently and without supervision. Person must be highly reliable and have excellent time and attendance.

Requirements:

• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have a very high attention to detail.

• Must have excellent computer skills and be adept at learning new systems/procedures.

• Detail oriented, self-confident and assured, tactful, supportive.

• Able to work independently and be self-motivated.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
