Emerson Product Support Engineer (Customer Centric Solutions) in Easthampton, Massachusetts
Provide system level post-delivery support for sophisticated custom systems including handling technical requests from end-users, troubleshooting and resolving unexpected system behaviors and coordinating across engineering teams to resolve technical issues! This role should be able to analyze data and have initiative problem solving skills to find the root cause of issues and effectively raise problems to appropriate engineering team. The system product support engineer will serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback, improvement recommendations and customer insight to the organization. This role has the opportunity to define standard processes and sculpt the future of post-delivery support across the T&M ADG organization.!
In This Role, your Responsibilities Will Be
Deliver and support site acceptance testing, commissioning, training and Startup assistance
Voice of the customer - Interpret customer issues and communicate technical feedback and customer insight to product and business teams
Technical SME - Respond to situations where first-line support has failed to resolve problems, coach and train first-line support as needed
Lead issues/questions through resolution including troubleshooting, reproducing and coordinating with multi-functional R&D teams
Support internal and external customers with testing, training, and documentation for new product introductions.
Participate in engineering project meetings and provide feedback on serviceability and field concerns.
Provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
Maintain accurate documentation
Perform on-site service, repair, and installation of company products.
Provide training on new and existing product systems.
May be involved in customer installation and training programs.
Delivery post-delivery consulting and sustaining engineering
Provide recommendations to org on best practices for post-delivery support

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, systems engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with PLC systems, Tech180 and/or NI Solution systems – including NI SW and HW
Experience in the Test and Measurement industry as a test or design engineer
Ability to carry or pull up to 40 lbs. of test equipment.
Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working within design review and browsers.
Demonstrated attention to detail and collaboration skills
