Edgartown Diner LLC Line Cook in Edgartown, Massachusetts
Date of Need: 4/1/2023 to 11/30/2023 Prepare, season, and cook dishes, sandwiches, desserts, appetizers, and baked goods using knives, grills, meat slicers, ovens and fryolators. Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations. Light kitchen and utensil cleaning. Shifts are 7:30AM -3:30PM and 2:30-10:30PM. Wage paid within range based upon performance at employers' discretion. Possible bonuses based upon performance, at employers' discretion. Optional housing offered at $250.00/wk. If employee opts of housing fee will be deducted from paycheck. The cost of housing will not be deducted through payroll if deducting said cost will result in wages less than the Massachusetts minimum hourly wage. Employees will work 5 days a week, but days of the work week and shifts will vary, weekly. Will train. Employees must be able to commit to entire employment period. No degrees or experience required. Employees will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employee will be reimbursed for initial inbound subsistence and transportation after 50% of employment period is completed. Upon completion of the period of need, or if employee is dismissed early, employer will pay for workers reasonable costs and subsistence of outbound, return, transportation back to where employee came from, unless the employee does not return. The amount of transportation reimbursed will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence for travel will be provided at a rate of $14.00/day up to a max of $59.00/day with proof by receipts. Employees will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period to the total employment period.
